Study Group

With effect from September 2026, we are extremely excited to announce that we are launching our very own Welwyn Hatfield Chan study group.

This project will be led by Paul Goddard who will facilitate local group meetings to initially discuss the basic principles and teachings of of Buddhism using The Buddhist Society's correspondence course as its foundation.

The Welwyn Hatfield Chan study group is open to existing members at a cost of £25.00 (this covers the cost of the course materials and the assigned tutor from The Buddhist Society), and if you are interested in joining the study group, please reach out to us using our Contact page for further details.

The Buddhist Society is the oldest Buddhist organisation in Europe, founded in 1907.
